4' halfpipe traceable plan 16' wide w/ extension - shipping included
The 4' halfpipe is our most popular template plan sold. When completed, the ramp is 29' long with 4' decks on both sides.
This is the perfect ramp for a beginner skater who wants to learn how to drop in and then progress to every grind or rock and roll variation, ollies, blunts or even small airs. The 4' halfpipe is too small for bmx or inliners to really enjoy but we've seen skateboarders who can barely drop in, progress to backside ollies over two panels within a few months and are not "bored" with its height. Don't worry about outgrowing it; this ramp remains fun forever. The 5' tall extension section of the ramp can be placed in whichever corner you would like. We have found that most regular footed skaters like it on the right side of the transition for airing up onto the extension (tricks like backside ollies to disaster, smiths or nose grinds). Goofy footed skaters would primarly want the extension on the left side of the wall. The 5' extension can be eliminated if desired (but you shouldn't).

A sample packet of the different ramp surfaces is included free of charge in every template plan. The packet is helpful in choosing colors as well as getting a feel of the different ramp surfaces. You will clearly see and feel that these surfaces are much different than masonite. You will also realize that there is not a similar surface available at your local lumber store. Feel free to perform tests on the surfaces - countersink them, saw them, submerge them in water, beat them with a hammer, - whatever.
The information sheet is also very helpful with shipping locations, cost and pros and cons of each surface.
